I think this mod has potential but is in a very early beta stage and as such, maybe it's not ready to be judged against ctdp and the rest etc...
It handles very nicely but I found it extremely difficult to spin, even with low or no TC... I think the car is currently almost too stable both in corners and under braking but it is certainly an improvement on both the ISI BMW F1 physics and mods like F1 Champions, which I feel are almost arcadey in their handling.
This is nowhere near as difficult as CTDP 2005 but then it is modelling a 2006 V8 car as opposed to a 2005 V10 and maybe that makes a big difference. But I just find it hard to believe real F1, the pinnacle of motorsports, could be this easy to drive.
In short, it still has a little bit of work needed (original models, more physics tweaking etc) but so far very promising and already better than some of the F1 mods out there. _________________ "I don't have any fear of a crash. I too believe this mod carries alot of potential. I don't know if I'd compare it to other mods either as I've not raced any 2006 season cars as of yet. To much grip so far so physics still needs some work.
Definitely a mod to keep an eye open for !
Keep up the Good Work.

I tried the mod in Silverstone, Imola and EMG_Monaco. Results are good, imho, even if the car is a bit less communicative than CTDP (who still have a better FF, at least for me ).
Reaching the hairpin in Monaco, I noticed that it's still a bit easy to lose the rear end (mainly if you are too fast); maybe a little more grip at low speed would be good, but I don't know if what happens in Monaco also depends on the level of grip of the track.
Keep it up! |
Thanx alot for your kind and accurate opinion, i think the prob of losing the rear (all over at low speed) is infact the big problem of any F1 mod released.
Probabaly something more will be done in that direction too when the official mod will be ready.

Thanx dude!! well there r some skins avaible but the mod has been made for online champs, it means each team should have his own skin.
Grazie bbello, in effetti il mod è stato concepito x fare campionati online utilizzando skins personalizzate _________________

Hiya,
Please speak in English on this forum, even if you have to use an online translation website.
Thank you
